The glamorous life of being a celebrity must come with loads of red carpet events and days of movie promotions. This must mean they must constantly dress appropriately for every other occasion. The Bollywood movie industry too has given us numerous iconic looks to date. But, one specific style has caught netizens’ eyes, worn on a particular occasion.
We’re referring to the black-and-white combination that female Bollywood stars seem to flaunt right before announcing they’re pregnant! So we might as well conclude that Polka dots or black and white combinations represent a positive pregnancy test — how else would you explain all of these ‘coincidences’ happening in Bollywood?
Anushka Sharma and Natasha Stankovic announced their pregnancy at the same time, only a week apart. So naturally, netizens were overjoyed with this and since then have created a conspiracy of how so many female celebrities have dropped hints through these clothes. Coincidence? We think not!
Kareena Kapoor, too looked gorgeous in this polka dot print. She announced that she was pregnant only a few days after the photo surfaced on the internet.
And now, the legend of the polka dot dress has only continued — as Alia Bhatt and Ranbeer Kapoor announced that they’re pregnant, netizens quickly jumped to see if they’d left any hints. Sure enough, Alia was wearing this black and white dress only a few days before the announcement!
It seems that celebrities are compulsive to hint at their incoming bundle of joy by wearing a black and white combo. So naturally, fans couldn’t be happier and are showing the couple all the support, along with some hilarious comments. And obviously, the dress also shares the spotlight.
This is what Twitter had to say about this:
Just like us, celebrities too seem to be both pretty surprised and happy to hear this news. Everyone from Karan Johar to Anushka Sharma shared congratulatory messages for the couple on their social media handle.
While we are happy to hear this news, we too would like to see Alia wearing this infamous dress, to confirm it. What do you guys think?
